Jodayne faced a really unfair situation. The company he interviewed with was building a brand-new Cybersecurity team, and the 21 DAY CYBER training made him so advanced for the Junior SOC Analyst position that the hiring manager hesitated to hire him, fearing he might leave for a better opportunity. This decision delayed Jodayne’s entry into the industry by nine months, but he decided to wait and apply for the same job again because he didn’t want to relocate his family to another state.
Jodayne Gets The Junior SOC Analyst Position!
After 9 months, Jodayne decided to reapply for the same position with the same company. He lived in a state with a lower cost of living and not many Cybersecurity job opportunities, and he didn’t want to relocate to Virginia or another Cybersecurity hotspot where expenses would be nearly double.
This time, Jodayne once again Crushed The Interview and was hired as a Junior SOC Analyst, fully prepared to hit the ground running.
Jodayne Gets Promoted
To Tier-2 SOC Within A Year Baby!
Jodayne put in the work and quickly leveled up from a Junior SOC Analyst to a Tier-2 SOC Analyst. He became highly skilled in threat detection, incident response, and automation by mastering playbooks and real-world security operations workflows.
