The Worst Career Ever...
In 2013, I was earning minimum wage as a security guard when a friend convinced me to enter the cell phone tower industry. The allure of earning $40 per hour seemed promising, but once I began working, I quickly discovered that it was all a trap.
The job required me to travel to different cities, often out of state, with no guarantee of consistent 40-hour workweeks, and I had to cover my own expenses. To make matters worse, the 4G LTE projects I worked on lasted only 4-6 months, leaving me unemployed for a significant portion of the year.
After 8 dreadful years in the cell phone tower industry, I came to the realization that there was no way out. I was constantly on the move, unable to have my own home or enjoy a fulfilling dating life. Most importantly, unpredictable work stoppages made it virtually impossible to save any money. Every year, I would end up broke, waiting for another project to begin.
